COVID Restrictions Could Soon Lessen

Governor Greg Abbott said Thursday he is hopeful that he could lift more COVID-19 restrictions soon. He added that Texas recorded its lowest COVID hospitalization rate in two months this week and its lowest positivity rate since November. He wants to allow more time to let the numbers settle, but he hopes to lift restrictions sooner than later with vaccinations ramping up.
