John Henderson, president and CEO of the Texas Organization of Rural and Community Hospitals says the Pfizer vaccine comes bundled in doses of 975. Most rural hospitals don’t have that many employees. The Moderna vaccine could arrive next week. Unlike Pfizer’s, that shot does not need cold storage, and it’s bundled in doses of 100. Henderson says any distribution philosophy that excludes rural hospitals is a mistake.
