Cowboys Hire Defensive Coordinator Plus High School Basketball In Today’s Sports Update

Former Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn has reached a deal to become the Dallas Cowboys’ new defensive coordinator. Quinn met virtually with the Cowboys over the weekend and is traveling to Dallas for an in-person interview Monday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.

Quinn has worked extensively on the defensive side of the game over his coaching career, serving as the Seattle Seahawks’ defensive coordinator in 2013 and 2014. Both of those defenses finished first in the NFL in yardage and points allowed. He also worked as a defensive line coach.
The Philadelphia Eagles announced Monday that they had parted ways with head coach Doug Pederson after five seasons with the franchise. The move comes following a disappointing 4-11-1 campaign and reported recent meetings with owner Jeffrey Lurie regarding Pederson’s future with the organization.

The Dallas Mavericks game with the New Orleans Pelicans was postponed last night due to COVID issues inside the Mavericks team. Dallas didn’t have the necessary eight players to field a team for the game.

Prairiland takes on Edgewood with the boys on the road and the girls at home. Both Detroit teams will play Maud on the road. While both honey Grove teams host Bland.

Last night the Rivercrest Lady Rebels beat Detroit 48-28. Lauren Hardman had 14 pts and ten rebounds for Rivercrest. Anna Duvall added 11 pts.
