Critical Race Bill Passes Texas Senate

The Texas Senate approved and sent the House the controversial “Critical Race Theory Bill” over the weekend. The bill states that no public school teachers will be required to discuss current events or currently controversial events, and if they do, they teach both sides. Association of Texas Professional Educators spokesperson Jennifer Mitchell says this is a mandate that limits teachers.
