Cumby Police Arrest Hays County Man After Chase

Officers arrested a Hays County man after a high-speed chase on I-30 that started when a Cumby Police Officer noticed that a vehicle had an illegal window tint. Officers from other agencies joined the chase. It finally ended when the driver, 22-year-old Mark Sherrin of Kyle, pulled over at the 146-mile marker on the Interstate in Franklin County. They booked him into the Hopkins County Jail for evading arrest with a vehicle, illegal possession of firearms, and driving without a license.
