Dallas Police Officer Could Face Stiffer Charge For Killing Unarmed Neighbor

The Dallas County District Attorney says the case against a white female Dallas police officer who shot and killed a black neighbor in his home will be presented to a grand jury, which could decide on more serious charges than manslaughter. Dallas officer Amber Guyger told authorities that she had mistaken the neighbor’s apartment for her own. She was arrested Sunday night for manslaughter and booked into the Kaufman County jail before being released on bond.
