Hopkins County officials stopped Kerry Olin Kirkpatrick, 55, of Sulphur Springs early Thursday morning. That is when they discovered the name he gave belonged to a deceased person. Checking information in Kirkpatrick’s wallet uncovered a Gregg County warrant. Officers arrested Kirkpatrick for a state jail felony, manufacturing of delivery of a controlled substance, and an accident involving damage to property.
