Officials are reminding voters that today is the deadline for ballot by mail applications to be received , not postmarked, by county early voting clerks. To vote early by mail Texans must be at least 65 years of age, away from their county of registration on Election Day and during the period for early voting, be disabled, or be confined to jail but otherwise eligible to vote. Formal applications for a ballot by mail can be downloaded and sent to county early voting clerk by fax or email by 5pm.
