Deadly Crash In Harrison County

Last Sunday around 8:30 pm, Troopers responded to a two-vehicle fatal crash on FM-9 in Harrison County. It was 12 miles north of Waskom. The driver of a Ford Crown Victoria was traveling northbound on FM-9 when it struck a 2002 Honda dirt bike that was going north on the same roadway. The impact ejected the rider, identified as Nolan Leo Majeski, 32, of Winthrop, MN. Megan Pinson pronounced Majeski dead at the scene. The driver of the Ford fled the scene. The vehicle was later discovered abandoned.
