Deputies Drive Up On Dogfighting

Harrison County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jesus Stephens, 31, of Waskom, connected to dogfighting and animal cruelty last Sunday (Nov 14). Deputies and the warden noticed a crowd of nearly 100 people when they arrived and thought it was a pasture party with adults. Then they found several malnourished dogs in kennels with blood. The scene became chaotic when the crowd began fleeing from the location.
