Sheriff, Tommie Johnson III
The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Del City officer working off-duty security firing his weapon at the football game last Friday. A 42-year-old man was shot in the chest and remained in critical condition. Sheriff Tommie Johnson III said the officer “perceived some sort of threat” but added the investigation is in the early stages. The officer did not shoot Cordae Carter, 16, who died after being shot at the game.
