Deputy, Suspect Wounded In Bryan County Shootout

The OSBI is investigating a shootout between a  Bryan County deputy and a suspect that happened at about 10pm Sunday night a little less than a mile south of Achille. Deputies were called to a disturbance and made contact with 48-year-old Wesley Buford, who rushed towards the deputies while armed, which led to the shooting. The deputy and Buford were treated and released, Buford was taken to the jail in McKinney  butbwill be extradited back to Oklahoma.
