Dierks Bentley’s Zen Moment In Today’s Nashville Roundup

Thomas Rhett tells the Baltimore Sun that he wants to be known as a ‘believable artist. “My end goal is to just be a very believable artist. I don’t want anybody to ever walk away saying, ‘Well I thought his music was great, but I don’t think he really believed in what he was talking about.’ Even if it’s just a fun song that doesn’t mean a whole lot, at least they believe in you and they believe that song coming out of your mouth.”

Dierks Bentley tells the Los Angeles Daily News that he finds peace on stage when he performs. “When I walk on stage, it’s the most peaceful moment. I’m yelling, screaming and diving off the stage, but I’m also super present. It has a Zen moment to it.”

Carrie Underwood was recently performing in Washington DC when she invited a Frederick, Maryland fourth-grader on stage to perform “The Champion” with her. Savannah Dahan is hearing impaired so instead of singing the song she used sign language to perform it with Carri.

Life & Style Weekly Magazine claims Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are allegedly getting Botox together. A source tells the magazine “It’s no secret that Nicole and Keith do everything together, including Botox. They’ve gone in for solo treatments, of course, but they also have a cosmetic surgeon who comes to see them in the privacy of their own home. Neither Kidman nor Urban is opposed to a little filler and a few injections to smooth out some wrinkles and keep the spark in their relationship alive.”

Matt Stell tells Pop Culture Country that he grew up around music. “I have a part of my family that’s very musical, and then I’ve just kind of always thought that I just liked music like everybody else. It turns out I have a passion for it and I just love it, and so I think definitely having music in the house growing up was a big part of that.”

Luke Combs tells Forbes magazine that he likes playing big venues over chicken restaurants. “It’s been awesome to have gotten to do all of this. To go from playing a chicken wing restaurant in Asheville, the Wild Wing Cafe, to selling out PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte where I used to go see concerts when I was a kid is absolutely mind-blowing. Having 20,000 people buy tickets, that is insane to me.”

According to People magazine, Lauren Alaina says her cousin went into a coma before her performance last night on Dancing With the Stars. “I had a crazy, crazy week. My cousin Holly had a brain bleed and she slipped into a coma earlier this week. I went home and we missed a few days of rehearsals. And I was like really stressed and my family told me to come here and I want to dedicate the dance to you, Holly.”
