Dodd City Man Indicted for Shooting Wife



51 year old Michael Piland has been indicted by the Fannin County Grand Jury for allegedly shooting his wife, Shannon,  in the face at their home in Dodd City. She lost an eye and part of her brain in the attack and is unable to speak. Piland is currently out on $100,000 bond.  He faces between 5 and 99 years in prison plus a $10,000 fine if he’s convicted.
