Fort Worth Police Officer Zach Briseno
One of Fort Worth’s newest police officers is a true inspiration. While serving in Iraq in 2007, 35-year-old Zach Briseno lost both of his legs below the knee in an IED blast. Briseno was one of 24 graduates in the Fort Worth Police Department’s latest academy class. Briseno says it’s the culmination of a life-long goal. Briseno is only the second double-amputee police officer in the country.
