Driver License Waiver Expires Soon

With time running out before the waiver on expired driver licenses ends, the DPS makes it easier to renew your license. The DPS has launched a new driver’s license website that is easier to use. On the site, you can renew your driver’s license or identification card, change the address, replace lost and stolen cards, and change your emergency contacts. The waiver on expiration dates for driver licenses and IDs ends on April 14. After that date, you could receive a ticket for having an expired license. If you need to renew, you can make an appointment to do so on the new website. It could take up to six months for an appointment.
