Drowning At Lake Tankersley

Mt Pleasant Police and Fire worked a drowning at Lake Tankersley Thursday night. Reportedly James Hall Majors, 74, of Mt Pleasant, went fishing around 4:00 pm and failed to return home. Police found his vehicle running at the boat ramp, Firefighters found his empty boat adrift near the dam, and Game Wardens, using sonar, found him around midnight.
