DSHS Changing Coronavirus Reporting Methods

The Texas Department of State Health Services is changing the way it reports cases of Coronavirus COVID-19. It had previously only been reporting the cases when they were reported from Austin. It will now start listing cases using by the counts by county and local health departments. Local and County reports often list where the case was diagnosed, rather than where the patient lives. DSHS reports where the patient resides.
