DSHS Wants Vaccination Distribution Speeded Up

The Secretary of Health and Human Services urges states to vaccinate as many people as possible as quickly as possible. Baylor infectious disease expert Dr. Peter Hotez thinks we should open up high school football stadiums, and line people up, as a way to make the vaccination process less fussy. He says the state needs to pick up the pace of vaccinations. About three million Texans need to get the shot every month to get us to herd immunity by September.
