Early Voting For Runoff Election Underway

Early voting in Texas for the runoff elections is underway under coronavirus restrictions. Polling places are enforcing social distancing, but the elections workers are also learning what needs fine-tuning for the fall general election. Some poll workers say they should take another look at tight quarters for voting. Turnout for runoff elections, historically, is light with only 1 to 2 percent of the voters casting ballots.
