East Texas Escapee Gets More Time Behind Bars

The man who escaped from the Gregg County jail on December 23 has pleaded guilty to 2 charges in connection with the escape. Jace Martin Laws was serving a 70-year sentence for assault on a police officer and a prior escape. He received an additional 16 years behind bars to be served after he completes his 70-year sentence.
