East Texas Firefighters Dispatched To California Wildfires

East Texas Fire departments lend a helping hand as fires rage in California, and they evacuate thousands of people from their homes. Crews from Paris, Powderly, Mount Pleasant, Athens, Longview, and Nacogdoches are there now. They all met in Lubbock on Friday and drove across the country. California is their base for at least two weeks, and many firefighters will have to sleep in tents.
