Authorities conducted a gambling raid Thursday afternoon on two Smith County businesses on Highway 64. The Express Beer and Wine and next door the Valero Station were raided simultaneously. Officers seized 11 gaming machines and an undisclosed amount of cash. They issued six citations and made one arrest. Deputies also served a warrant at a residence looking for financial records.
