An Angelina County jailer was arrested and fired Wednesday after a Texas Ranger investigation into an alleged assault of an inmate. The jailer,Roger Grimes of Lufkin was charged with Official Oppression.. He was booked into the Angelina Co. Jail but has since posted bond and has been released.
