East Texas Lawman Announces Retirement

Henderson County Sheriff Ray Nutt has announced his  intent to retire, effective May 23^rd.  Sheriff Nutt has been in law enforcement for 50 years, He became a state trooper in 1969 and a Texas Ranger in 1979, a position he held for nearly 15 years. He became Henderson County sheriff in 2009.
