East Texas Man Gets Life W/O Parole

An East Texas man was convicted in Smith County Wednesday of continuous sexual abuse of a child. Raul Eduardo Lopez-Navidad of Tyler was then sentenced to life in prison without parole. The jury heard evidence that the defendant first sexually assaulted the child when she was in the 5th grade and continued to the age of 16.
