An East Texas man has been indicted for stabbing a New Jersey man during a disturbance at a party in Athens. The Henderson County Grand Jury handed down the murder indictment against 25 year old Jeremy Robert Lane of Athens in connection with the death of 27 year old Mark Groendyk. Investigators say Groendyk was fatally stabbed when he and several others at the party tried to prevent Lane from driving because he was allegedly intoxicated.
