East Texas Man Jailed After Chase

An East Texas man, stopped for a traffic violation in Center, sped away from the officer and a chase began. The chase ended after Troy Anderson got stuck in a ditch and attempted to flee on foot. He was captured after a foot chase by a K9. A gun stolen in Timpson was pulled from his hand by the K9 and methamphetamine was found in Anderson’s vehicle. Anderson was also charged with a parole violation.
