East Texas Man Jailed For Assault, Robbery

A homeless East Texas man has been arrested for assaulting a woman he met at a Longview motel, robbing her and tearing a phone out of the wall when she threatened to call police. 34 year old Charles H. Nylander III then ran from the scene and escaped on a city bus. He was later captured and his bond has been set at $13,000.
