East Texas Man Sentenced For Threatening Church

An East Texas man  has been sentenced to prison for threatening a church in Bullard. 41 year old Rasheed Abdul Aziz of Flint received 37 months in federal prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Aziz had previously been convicted of an aggravated robbery in Harris County in 1996, thus making it illegal for him to possess a gun. Under the plea agreement, other undisclosed charges against him were dismissed.
