East Texas Man Shot In The Nose

An East Texas man is recovering after being shot in the nose in the parking lot of the Dollar General Store in Carthage. Police found Theodore Yocum in a car and he was able to tell officers who shot him and where the suspect lived. Officers then arrested William Fred Thompson for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Yocum was taken to a hospital in Carthage and then flown to a Tyler hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
