East Texas Preacher Faces Multiple Charges

Bond is $550,000 for 65-year-old Jerome Rocky Milton, an East Texas pastor accused of stealing from an elderly couple and opening bank accounts without consent from his previous church for his personal use. Officials charged Milton, the pastor of Open Door Bible Church in Tyler, with two counts of credit or debit card abuse against the elderly and one count of property theft between $2,500 and $30,000.
