East Texas Prostitution Round-Up

The Department of Public Safety on Thursday announced the arrest of seven men, including one from Mt Pleasant and Mineola, in a solicitation of prostitution that took place Tuesday and Wednesday in Longview. The Texas Penal Code states that a person commits an offense if the person knowingly offers or agrees to pay a fee to another person to engage in sexual conduct with that person or another. The charge is a state jail felony.
