East Texas Theft Suspect Jailed In West Texas

An East Texas fugitive wanted on felony theft charges is back in custody. Allegedly, 33-year-old Ashley Stevens, AKA Ashley Boyd, had allegedly stolen more $60,000 from a business in the Lindale area. At first, she was believed to be hiding in Mineola. She was taken into custody in Pecos, Texas. No word on when she will be transported back to Smith County.
