East Texas Toddler Drowns

An East Texas toddler has drowned after falling into a partially drained in-ground pool in Carthage. The nearly 2 year old child was at home with his teenage baby sitter while the parents were at work. Police say the child apparently went outside the house when the babysitter fell asleep on the couch. The investigation into the tragedy is continuing.
