Egg Smuggling From Mexico

U.S. Customs and Border Protection reports a spike in attempts to smuggle eggs into the country over the U.S.-Mexico border illegally. As a result, egg prices increased by 60%, which the U.S. Department of Agriculture attributes to avian flu. The flu has killed more than 43 million chickens.
