Eight Dogs Found Dead In Upshur County

Upshur County deputies are investigating after 8 dead dogs were found by two people riding ATV’s in a rural area. A few yards away from the carcasses, 3 pit bull puppies were found alive but abandoned. The wife of one of the ATV drivers has taken the puppies home to care for them. Deputies say the investigation remains open, but there are no suspects. Area residents say people constantly dump their pets in the area.
