Elderly Woman Charged In Cold Case Murder

An 84-year-old Anderson County woman has been charged with murder in the death of her husband 35 years ago. Johnnie Albritton was shot and killed in May of 1984 at his Leon County home. New information led to the indictment of Johnnie’s widow Norma Albritton. She was arrested in Palestine and taken to the Leon County Jail where she bonded out.
