Election Day Is Here

Today is Election Day and a massive turnout is expected. At stake are local, state and federal positions. Polls will be open from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm.

Officials with the U.S. Department of Justice will be monitoring Tuesday’s elections in three Texas counties. Staffers from the Civil Rights Division will be in Tarrant County, Harris County, and Waller County. Their task will be to monitor compliance with federal voting rights laws.
