Employee Impersonator Robs Convenience Store

Police say a man walked into a Shell gas station and convenience store in Mesquite and told the clerk he was a new employee there to training.. Without questioning the claim, the clerk started showing him how to use the register and helped him while he checked out several customers. The suspect is seen on surveillance video taking $198 out of the register when the clerk wasn’t looking. When the manager came out from a back room, the suspect then ran from the store.
