ERCOT Board Members Resign

Five ERCOT board members are resigning. Since last week’s deadly winter weather, the board has been under intense pressure caused the agency to use rolling blackouts to keep the electric grid from collapsing. Governor Greg Abbott welcomed the resignations saying ERCOT’s assurances about the stability of the grid were, quote, “devastatingly false.”
