ERCOT Issues Statement On Possible Winter Storm

The operator of the Texas power grid gives a dire warning. ERCOT’s chief forecaster says this winter will look much like 2021 when a winter storm blasted Texas named Uri. Any bad weather will likely come in January or February. The head of ERCOT joined in by stating that there is a slightly higher chance of outages his year, primarily driven by the increased demand.
