ERCOT Ready For Heat Wave

The Electric Reliability Council of Texas expects to have a sufficient generation to serve all of Texas next week as temperatures soar across the state. As a result, the need for power next week could reach all times highs for ERCOT. The previous record is 74,820 megawatts, but ERCOT is confident it could produce 80,000 megawatts if needed.
