The outgoing head of ERCOT says they’re building back trust after winter storm Uri when outages led to hundreds of deaths. Brad Jones told lawmakers we had a cold winter and no significant outages. He says this summer was the second hottest on record for Texas, and there were no outages. ERCOT twice asked for conservation, and he says that’s a good thing because they’re staying ahead of the curve.
