ET Constable, Grandchild Shot, Wife Arrested

Smith County Precinct 1 Constable Henry Jackson was hospitalized in fair condition with a gunshot wound to the chest. His 5 year old granddaughter was shot in the ankle. 66 year old  Meraland Jackson has been charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is being held on $500,000 bond in the Smith County jail.
