ET Constable To Lose License

The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement will notify Smith County  Precinct 1 Constable Henry Jackson that they are suspending his peace officer licenses. Jackson was recently released from a federal prison after serving six months for income tax evasion. He was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $157,489. He has refused to resign his constable position.
