An East Texas hunter arrested last year pleaded guilty to poaching. 39 year old Phillip Dale Summerfield of Big Sandy was sentenced to 2 years probation and ordered to pay $10,790 restitution. He is also prohibited from hunting for 2 years. Summerfield was charged with killing white-tailed deer on land owned by Kilgore civic leader Randy Brogoitti and former Gregg County Judge Mickey Smith in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
