ET Woman Guilty Of Intoxication Manslaughter

An East Texas woman pleaded guilty in Smith County Monday to two counts of Intoxication Manslaughter, just as a jury was set to be selected in the case. Prosecutors say 36-year-old Jessica Lauren Vass, of Lindale, was drunk when she crashed into a vehicle on the side of the road, killing a woman and a man who had stopped to change a flat tire. The punishment phase of her trial is today.
