ET City Employees Charged WIth Theft

Two East Texas municipal employees have been arrested for embezzling city funds. Jeanie Selman and Nicole Arriola have been indicted by the Cherokee County grand jury for theft by a public servant of between $30,000 and $150,000.  Selman was the City of Alto municipal court clerk. Arriola worked as Alto billing clerk. Both turned themselves in at the jail and were released after posting $5,000 bond. Texas Rangers handled the investigation.
