Activities At Camp County 4-H

Just a reminder about some upcoming programs and events in 4-H:

Members, if you signed up for an event below, you are expected to attend.

October 18, 6:00 pm: livestock meeting, specifically for those interested in showing livestock at our county show at Aubrey pilgrim Bldg/ show barn

October 19, 6:30 pm: Camp County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting, 4-H members to set up an informational booth and bring desserts at Efurd Venue

October 25, after school: Main St. Trick or Treat workday to put stickers on candy or pre-bag give-a-ways, my office (115 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Ave, suite D)

October 30, dusk: Main St. Trick or Treat, 4-H booth handing out info and candy (costume contest is now virtual)

November 1, 6 pm: regular 4-H meeting at Aubrey pilgrim bldg., Mayor Abernathy presentation

November 6: Canned food drive set up 9 am-3 pm, Smith Furniture parking lot- look for our green canopy.

November 13: hands-on pig clinic at Aubrey pilgrim ag show barn, bring your pig ($5 registration fee, meal provided, register online: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/168982682753

November 15: hands-on goat clinic at Aubrey pilgrim ag show barn, bring your goat, free, laid back, no meal

Tentative: show rabbit clinic in January/February, and show cattle clinic in Spring, show sheep/goat clinic in fall.
